6mm Mechs from Quartermaster3D - ByronM

 Here are some test prints of some modular mechs that my friend Scott is designing over at Quartermaster 3D. 

I of course had to paint them up in a classic Gundam paint scheme, tested with some Scale 75 contrast paints.  They give a quick basic paint job, with shading built into how they work.  I then touched up some edges with some extra highlight and then based them up.

ALTO [Yellow] eEXM-17 (Steve)

 A "30 Minutes Missions" 30mm 1/144 exEXM-17  (5057779) by Ban Dai.  Its a beginner level model kit I can recommend as a first kit to those thinking of dabbling in the Ban Dai kits.    

This is not the first kit I have assembled, but this was the first time I followed up with the detail pens to fill in the detail lines and part edges.   To see what other detail I could add without painting or decals, I also tried to add some further color with a couple of brown & rust colored pencils, which I found required I thumb smudged every pencil line to make the color look part of the model rather than vandalism by a mischievous toddler.

 Z's July crafty painty thingy is a repaint of a "tree face" purchased from the dollar store.
